32 years of experience in the field of Drama, Television and Films.                                                                                                                                          M.A. (Political Science) 2003, Diploma in Journalism 2003, B.A. (Marathi) 1998 Diploma in Printing Technology 1987.

Recently appointed as a Examiner and Paper Setter for B.A. Drama Semester – I to Semester – VIII of Hemachandracharya North Gujrath University
Conducted Residential Workshops for Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Maharashtra in the year 2006 (Khanapur, Pune),
2017 (Khanapur, Pune), 2018 (Kudal, Sindhudurg) Conducted Writing Workshops for State Department of Culture, Maharashtra in the year 2017 and 2018.
Conducted Acting Workshops for Sakal Papers Pvt. Ltd. and Choice Film And Television Institute – 2006-09.
Visiting Faculty for Subject – Theatre Production at Symbiosis Center for Media and Communication, Pune With the intent of providing a solid platform for upcoming and talented individuals had founded ‘Sneh Academy’ in 1987. As a teacher/mentor nearly 5000 students have got personal guidance through workshops and various theatre related activities conducted by ‘Sneh Academy’.

Dr. Mangesh Bansod (Senior Assistant Professor)

(Educational Science)- Mumbai University, Mumbai-1995. · Ph.D.(Sub- Marathi Folk Theatre Tamasha)-Mumbai University, Mumbai2004. Has extensive experience in acting & directing with veteran directors for last 10
years which includes many Marathi and Hindi Plays, Serials and Films,

Dr. Milind Inamdar (Assistant Professor)

He is a post graduate from National School of Drama  (N.S.D.) New Delhi with specialisation in Acting. He has won the best Actor Award Certificate at ”Maharashtra State Competition” for the play ‘Vidushak’ and ‘Ganesh Mahadev Nashikkar’.  He has conducted more than forty acting oriented workshops at different parts of Maharashtra. He directed and acted in ”]is Lahore nai dekhya” which performed four shows at the Rafi Peer Theatre Festival, in Lahore, Pakistan in 2004.

Dr. Amol Deshmukh (Assistant Professor)

Dr.Amol Deshmukh is an Dramatist, Director and Academician.He has completed his Master of Theatre Arts degree with distinction from Academy of Theatre Arts, University of Mumbai. He also passed the NET Exam and Received Ph.D in performing Arts from the Mumbai University.He hold positions in advisory committees including Executive committee member of Maharashtra School of Drama, Govt.of Maharashtra, Expert committee member of  Maharashtra Rajya Vishvakosh Nirmitee Mandal, Govt.of Maharashtra. He has written, directed and acted in many plays for State Level Drama Competitions and also has been awarded for the same. He is awarded National Integration Fellowship. He has conducted acting workshops in various cities. His published material includes play, ‘Madhavi’ and articles on theatre issues. Presently he is teaching Classical Indian Drama at the Academy.

Govind Namdev.

He is an eminent actor of Theatre, TV. Serials, & Hindi films. He has done his post graduate Diploma in Dramatics from N.S.D. He has worked with the N.S.D.’s Repertory Company for more than elevenyears. He teaches Acting at the Academy of Theatre Arts

Himani Shivpuri.

She is a leading Film, TV & Theatre Actor. Alumna of National School of Drama, worked with NSD repertory company for more than eight years. She has acted in more than a hundred Hindi films, leading TV serials and more than 60 theatre productions. She is the recipient of many prestigious Awards. She teaches Acting in the Academy .

Sandhya Rayate

M.A. (Sanskrit) S.N.D.T. University of Mumbai. Post Graduate from National School of Drama, New Delhi. B.Ed. (Sanskrit) University of Mumbai. Script Writing programe (VIDEO), N.C.E.R.T., New Delhi. Script Writing Programmed ((VIDEO), N.C.E.R.T., New Delhi. Stage Artist (Professional Plays, esp. Marathi), Script writer & producer for Audio Cassettes (Educational), Govt. of Maharashtra Educational Technology Cell, Mumbai. Offered Training in script writing programe’s conducted by Educational Technology Cell, Mumbai, Govt. of Maharashtra, Consistently writing scripts for Aakashwani for Educational Programes. Conducted various training programe’s in dramatics for children & Private Institutions. Lecturer Demonstrations on the effective use of dramatics in teaching for teachers. She is teaching classical Indian Darma, Modern Marathi Theatre &Western Theatre.

Shivdas Ghodake

He is Alumni of N.S.D. 1981 batch. He is prominent Director &Teacher. Since last twenty fiveyears he is teaching different aspects of Theatre . He has directed more than fifty major plays which includes. 1) Mahabhoj, 2) Gadhe ki Barat, 3) Andher Nagri. 4) Akhyan, Rajdarshan, Kanupriya etc. Las 20years he has conducted many workshop on ”Therepetic use of Theatre” for special children &special teachers. He is teaching Set—Design in Academy of Theatre Arts for last twelveyears.

Vijay Kenkare

He is a prominent &well known Director of main stream and parallel Marathi Theatre. Since 1985, he has successfully directed more than sixty plays for Marathi professional theatre. He is a recipient of many awards which include 1) Zee Marathi Awards 2) Vasant Soman Puraskar 3) Maharashtra Times Award 4) Award from Govt. of Goa. He is teaching Direction in Academy of Theatre
